The Interface Aesthetics Biostimulators Masterclass will cover the indications for and uses of injectable skin boosters and biostimulatory treatments, including Hyaluronic Acid and Calcium Hydroxyapatite.
Biostimulators represent one of the key innovations which have appeared and grown in the non-surgical aesthetics market both in the UK and globally, and patients are more and more aware of treatments that are able to improve skin function, quality and architecture as well as promote the body’s own production of collagen and elastin.
A skin booster is a biological material or bio-active that helps or encourages the skin to increase or improve its function. A biostimulator is an eponymous with the ability to generate cellular benefit or response through controlled inflammation.
Examples of biostimulators include Calcium Hydroxyapatite, Poly-L Lactic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid.
More recently there have been more innovative products such as dual-effect hybrid injectables containing a mixture of components such as Calcium Hydroxyapatite and Hyaluronic Acid (HarmonyCa).
Our Biostimulators masterclass will be an addition to the existing portfolio of injectables training courses covering everything from entry-level through to masterclass including the lower face, periorbital, and lips.
Ensuring that you are able to provide effective injectable skincare treatments to your patients is crucial in a rapidly expanding market with evermore discerning patients who understand the importance of skincare and collagen.
Structure of the course
The first part of the masterclass training involves a theoretical component where the anatomy of the skin, skincare assessment, indications for treatment, and the basis and mechanism of action of different skin boosters and biostimulatory products will be covered. Treatments covered include Hyaluronic Acid based products, Calcium Hydroxyapatite based products, and the new innovative Hybrid injectable dual-effect products.
Most of the day will be dedicated to hands-on training in small groups where delegates will assess and treat patients using the range of skin boosters and biostimulatory products covered in this course, and in addition, they will be able to identify which product or treatment is more appropriate in different patients across ages, gender, and ethnicity.
