Non-surgical rhinoplasty (NSR) training has been developed to address the shift in facial aesthetics towards less invasive treatment options when addressing the nose.
The demand for NSR has increased greatly over recent years, with the benefits over surgery including greater accessibility, reduced downtime, non-permanent results (which can be a positive) and reduced cost.
It should however be noted that not all patients are suitable for NSR; some concerns may only be fully addressed by surgical approaches. As such, a balanced understanding of the indications for both surgical and non-surgical approaches is key to any NSR training course.
The format for training follows the Interface Aesthetics principles of being 100% hands-on, with real patients. Pre-course theoretical video tutorials have been designed by course Director Mr James Olding, covering the essentials of anatomy, assessment, complications, and injection technique. These video tutorials are accessible online, enabling flexibility when preparing for the training. There is an additional short theory session on the day of the face-to-face training, followed by a full day of hands-on injecting.
I recently completed the nonsurgical rhinoplasty course with Dr Olding at Interface Aesthetics. I had previously completed my foundation and advanced injectables courses with him and I’ve been nagging him for a while to do the NSR course because I didn’t want to train with anyone else. I really love the way that he teaches, but I was also keen to train as I had a few clients who’ve come to me asking for the treatment. After doing the course I can honestly say it was everything that I expected. The same level of quality in terms of pre-teaching videos that you can go through and acquaint yourself before you get here, and a good amount of time in the morning, just a couple of hours, to go through the theory and then loads of hands-on experience which I think it’s the most important thing. Dr Olding is excellent at supporting you through the training , and he’s always there after the course to offer support with cases.,
