Future Leaders UK

Future Leaders UK

Interface have forged an important Charity Partnership with Future Leaders UK, which aligns with our core mission of improving mentorship and training for healthcare professionals and students

This partnership also addresses a broader goal of helping individuals from more diverse backgrounds into careers in healthcare. Future Leaders Programme is a year-long accredited programme for year 12/13 students from state schools across London, providing mentorship, support for applications into higher education, and opportunities in work experience.

What we do

  • Invite applications from Mentees on the Future Leaders scheme each year to attend Interface Expo
  • Support Mentees in obtaining clinical work experience to support applications to medicine and dentistry
  • Participate in networking and careers events to support and inspire young people

Why we do it

  • Getting a place at medical or dental school is more competitive than ever. Non-selective (Comprehensive) state school applicants are grossly underrepresented at Medical & Dental School. A commitment to diversity means empowering those from comprehensive state schools to be better represented in these key societal professions.
  • Representation is key – “To be it, you need to see it”

ADSS

At Interface Aesthetics, we proudly collaborate with various student societies, including the Aesthetic Dentistry Student Society.

Mentorship is a central theme of our company, and we recognise the transformative impact that proper guidance can have on enthusiastic students. Many students are eager to excel but may lack the necessary direction. We are committed to inspiring and harnessing the talent of the next generation of healthcare professionals. ADSS is dedicated to introducing dental students to the world of cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic medicine.

Our Collaborative Efforts Include:

Exclusive invitations to the Aesthetic Dentistry Student Society members to attend Interface Expo at super discounted rates, providing students with unique opportunities to engage with industry leaders and explore the latest innovations. Educational webinars that offer valuable insights into training in aesthetics and an introduction to dermal filler and botulinum toxin.

Hands-on workshops including demonstration of injection techniques on mannequins and observation of interface trainers treating patients with dermal filler and botulinum toxin Through these collaborations, we aim to support and enhance the educational journey of future dental professionals. ADSS was founded by students from King’s College London (KCL), and with several KCL graduates now on our faculty, it is a gratifying full-circle moment!
