What Level 7 delegates receive

Prescribing

A note on independent prescribing

Interface Aesthetics does not offer a prescribing course — this is obtained separately through a university programme. However, this does not stop you from beginning your training journey with us.

Non-prescribing pharmacists are welcome to attend our courses and develop their clinical skills. We actively support delegates in understanding when and how to pursue their IP qualification, so that full clinical autonomy is within reach as your aesthetic practice grows.

Independent prescribing pharmacists can move directly into autonomous aesthetic practice from the outset of their training.

Frequently asked questions

About the Level 7

Yes — all GPhC-registered pharmacists are eligible for the VTCT Level 7 Diploma. It is the only OFQUAL-regulated postgraduate qualification in aesthetic medicine, is JCCP-approved, and is recognised by all leading cosmetic insurers.

Delegates have up to 36 months to complete the programme. The majority complete within 18 months, with the flexibility to manage training alongside existing pharmacy commitments.

A one-day course provides focused CPD training in a specific treatment area. The Level 7 is a full postgraduate programme — with formal assessments, a 40-patient portfolio, mentorship days, clinical supervision, and a regulated qualification at the end. The depth, structure, and professional outcome are fundamentally different.

About Prescribing

Yes. Non-prescribing pharmacists are welcome to begin their training journey with us. Independent prescribing is required for autonomous practice, so we encourage non-prescribers to pursue their IP qualification alongside training. Our team can help signpost the right pathway so you gain full clinical autonomy as you progress.

We do not — prescribing qualifications are obtained through a university programme. What we can do is support you in understanding when and how to pursue it, so your aesthetic training is ready and waiting when you qualify.

Yes, positively. As an IP pharmacist you have full prescribing autonomy from day one, which means you can move more directly into independent aesthetic practice following your training. Our team will tailor course recommendations to reflect this.

About support

Level 7 delegates receive a dedicated WhatsApp group, personal coordinator, clinical supervision between training days, a complications management course, webinars, clinical discussions, business development support, and full access to E-Interface — our online library of 100+ hours of clinical content.
