Facial aesthetics is a rapidly expanding, diverse and exciting industry. As the aesthetics industry continues to grow, demand for facial aesthetic treatments has risen year on year, and dentists make up a growing proportion of aesthetic practitioners in the market.
Practising facial aesthetics requires a mix of dexterity, analytical skills and artistic flair. Dentists practise these skills on a daily basis, and the nature of dental training and practice means dental surgeons are often well placed to move into medical aesthetics. Dental practice involves treating pathology as well as aesthetic concerns of the jaws and face, and patients increasingly seek treatments with botulinum toxin and dermal filler to address both aesthetic and functional problems. Whether it is learning how to administer Botox® safely and effectively, or to provide dermal filler treatments which subtly rejuvenate and volumize an ageing face, Interface Aesthetics places hands-on training at the centre of all our Botox® and dermal filler training courses.
Health Education England (HEE) has set out standards for best practice in the medical aesthetics industry, with input from the GMC and a multiple medical and surgical associations. Nevertheless, training courses in Botox® and dermal fillers can vary widely in their content, detail and delivery. Our training courses for nurses are fully accredited, led by surgeons and designed to provide the greatest exposure to real patients. All training follows GMC and HEE guidance , and our courses are recognised and accredited by the two leading cosmetic insurance providers in the UK (Hamilton Fraser and Cosmetic Insure).
Our courses for dentists have been created to ensure that our delegates go on to become confident and competent to provide cosmetic treatments independently. Whether you are starting out in dental practice and looking to diversify your skillset, or if you are an established aesthetic dentist seeking to progress in your training, Interface Aesthetics has a selection of CPD-accredited training courses to meet your individual learning needs.

The Level 7 Diploma in Injectables is the ‘Gold Standard’ qualification in medical aesthetics, having as its objective training delegates to become competent independent practitioners. This regulated, post-graduate level qualification is designed to meet the standards set out by Health Education England (HEE) and the GMC in response to concerns over the variation in standards within the cosmetic industry. It provides a framework for safe and competent practice, and improves employability, increasing a Level 7 graduate’s competitive edge. There are 4 stages to the Level 7 Diploma:
Botox®
Dermal Filler
Following the Foundation Course, delegates will be able to obtain cosmetic practice insurance and start working straight away.
The Foundation Course can be taken as a stand-alone course in Botox ® & Dermal Filler, with the option of continuing on to complete the full Level 7 Diploma at a later date if desired.
Delegates will undertake training days as part of the Level 7 Diploma Mentorship Programme. A total of 40 patients will be observed and treated with both Botox® and dermal filler, all under the supervision of one of our expert aesthetic trainers. The treatment portfolio assembled will be submitted as part of the assessment for the award of the Level 7 Diploma.
Delegates will submit short answer questions based on the Level 7 learning material in the form of coursework, as well as sitting an OSCE as part of the final assessment for the award of the qualification. Examinations are externally sampled and marked, with successful candidates being awarded the Level 7 Diploma in Injectables upon completion of all stages.
